I am hearing reports that Seanie Johnston is not playing any football next season and is in line to take over as Drumalee manager in the next month. Looking in from the outside i see this is a good chance for an upcoming manager as Drumalee should get back upto Division 2 and compete well in the Intermediate Championship. As i say i just heard this from a source in Cavan Town, and not sure how true it is. Anybody know any other teams Johnston has coached/managed or is it a good role for him to take on?

He has got the Drumalee job as joint manager but has also given a commitment to the Gaels.he will be playing with the Gaels next year.

He has no experience at managing at club level.

They would probaly need most of their players available. A lot of them always seem to be away or injured.

Aidan"wylie" McCarron ex Tyrone player is taking over at mullahoran, he was in chg of swanlinbar las yr as well as working with Tyrone, so seems he set to stay in Cavan club scene, Seemingly he was very sought after as an addition to a few county back room teams, so great move for mullahoran to pull this off.

Also was told Redhills are after a couple of people from outside the county, no names gave to me though.

Big news over festive season. Munchies have a new manager. Alan Stephens from Carnaross is the man.Local man Val Yore stepped aside after one season.
