Shameful that Roscommon fans seem to outnumber Cavan ones.

Well there you have it lads, play the second half with 14 men, because it was too easy with 15 players really.

Roscommon are 11/8 to beat Cavan with Boylesports!!!

Still cant figure out how Roscommon were that price, went of 6/5 today.

I thought Cavan were going to win that game but well it wasn't there day,
Roscommon were very good and more clinical,
can someone tell me why Dunne is only getting 10-15 minutes of game time ? 2 years ago he was second top scorer in the championship if I am right, I thought Cavan's keeper was brilliant against us but not so good today but nobody plays perfect every game, Mackey seemed like him old self, especially the very first attack and more interested , against us he seemed to be very uninterested and non effective ,
Lastly I think Argue from what I have seen is non effective, for a man his height he wins barely anything and I can't seem to see why he is kept there for so long but he can only improve,
I'd imagine Cavan will be back next year, best of luck

Terrible display all round...defence no where near their men.. Corr was doing ok at mid but where was the great McKiernan..?? Easy starring against a pub team ( London) but not when it matters as usual... Mackey gave the ball away that much Roscommon might give him a lift home.. Future blue..??? More like Red (faced) after that shambolic display.....

Roscommon won at a canter because have much superior footballers to Cavan even with key men missing. Only 1 genuine forward in Cavan & that'a Mackey & he doesn't even play as a forward. Don't appear to be any forwards coming through either. Don't be fooled .......wasn't the sending off or defence that lost game for Cavan.........no forward threat!

That was hard to look at and hard to take. We have had a reason to be optimistic based on the young players coming through but that was hapless out there today. I think that it was some of our older players who let us down badly today. We need a change in leadership now 100% and I think that Terry knows that this is the end of the road. We are not a county blessed with a high volume of quality players so when we have talent then we can't sit back and let it fall by the way side.

I am not going to name and shame players but we all know that 2 of our inside forward line were not to be seen, midfield was poor and our full back line was surprisingly poor. I know that a lot of people are calling for Terrys head now and he will go but a few of the players let us down badly today. So here we are with another long summer ahead watching others. I am gutted and it really hurts as I know that we are capable of so much better than what was on show today. Mossy's red card was a decisive factor but with a malfunctioning forward line and a lack of ideas and creativity I just dont know what we could have hoped for.

A sad day for the jersey. Next year is a long way off and nothing positive to take from today...

Well if there isnt changes its beyond me, you would see it from the get go for them to bounce back and score that goal that u knew how it was going to go well i did certainly ,look hopefully new managment in and give it a go next year , cause terry has done his job and credit to him but his time is up and if hes still there next year it shows we aint aiming for ulsters etc because with terry we aint hes ran out of idea

could tell Roscommon were going to win it from their first score. yes losing a man was a big blow but to homest we didn't look like winning it. although the team we finished with looked much better than the team that started. Ciaran Brady, Conor Moynagh and Barry Reilly, tom hayes all deserve to be given their chance in the future. some of our defenders don't know how to tackle.

just a query, what would have happened if thomas corr did not go on to the field when the ref called him on. i am not sure if what the ref did there was legal. did the play not resume at the end of the first half after Corr's "strike". if it did why did the umpire or linesman not draw it to the ref's attention before the players left the field. do we have grounds for an appeal ?
