Senior Championship

(Oldest Posts First) - Go To The Latest Post

the senior games between xlough and drumgoon and lavey and mullahorn are as even as you can get, cant pick a winner, the rest of the games are one sided with castlerahen, lacken, ballinagh and ramor being easy winners.
many expect the stars to beat redhills easy but redhills have some serious talent like packie leddy and turloc mooney could do anything so im also leaving that out of my betting! great weknd of football ahead.

Crosserlough v Drumgoon DRUMGOON
Mullahoran v Lavey MULLAHORAN
Ballinagh v Cuchullains BALLINAGH
Ramor United v Denn RAMOR

My predictions for this weekend, looking forward to getting to see a few of these games!

Killygarry v Lacken - Hard to call, gonna go with Lacken, just about.
Kingscourt v Redhills - Kingscourt by 5 or 6, maybe more.
Castlerahan v Drumalee - Castlerahan should win comfortably but i think Drumalee could give them a good game.
Crosserlough v Drumgoon - None of them will do much in this Championship, Drumgoon by 2 or 3 points.
Mullahoran v Lavey - Mullahoran, Enda O'Reilly will be the difference.
Ballinagh v Cuchullains - Cuchllains are gone so far backwards recently, Ballinagh by 4 or 5 points, even though they aren't great either in my opinion.
Ramor United v Denn - Ramor with abit to spare. Denn could get to the Quarter-Finals through the back door depending who they get.

Kingscourt v Redhills Stars by 3, very close game
Castlerahan v Drumalee CASTLERAHAN by a landslide
Crosserlough v Drumgoon xlough by 6, good championship team against a bad championship team
Mullahoran v Lavey Draw, maybe mullahorn championship pedigree could be the difference
Ballinagh v Cuchullains BALLINAGH easily
Ramor United v Denn RAMOR again easily

Well that's some start to the weekend, Cuchllians winning 1-16 to 0-15 against Ballinagh and deservedly so, what a very enjoyable game. Wonder will there be any more surprises in store this weekend!

Is the draw already made for the back door games or how did you find that out?

Castlerahan 1-07 - Drumalee 1-06. Another very enjoybable and hard hitting game. Drumalee very unlucky not to come away with the win, and probably will feel the left this one behind, they gave a huge effort. Castlerahan will be more than happy to out of there with a win. I wouldn't fancy facing Drumalee in the back door based on this evenings performance! Just in at the C-Lough & Drumgoon game now in Breffni, 1-04 a piece at half time, miserable conditions.

kingscourt beat redhills 2.11 to 1.4. Redhills scored one point, from a free, in the 2nd half. Kingscourt missed a penalty in the 1st half.

Went to few games. What I noticed that match officials standards are poor. Kingscourt look like the team to beat with no one else impressing. Ramor Castlerahan looks like pick of next round. Ramor by 3 for me.
