All depends on what time the ref had in report that the lights went out..thats all that matters.doesn't matter what the clock says.refs report is final therefore they wouldn't have a case in going to ulster either.

No point going to the Ulster council if they have no case. Referee has said the correct time was played. The video was looked at and verified that the correct time was played. If they still go ahead to the Ulster council a meeting will be held tomorrow and its very likely the same outcome will happen. At the end of the day it's what is on the referees watch what matters. The video has proved that his watch was correct then case closed

Decision made lastnite at 9.45pm.Appeal failed.Ballinagh play Mullahoran at 7.30pm Sunday evening.Important to note that castlerahan missed a penalty after lights came back on so they should have nothing to complain about.at least they have the breffni league.more than a lot of clubs.

Castlerahan are embarassing themselves now. They had a few goal chances, including the penalty, and a free to level it at the end of extra time but they bottled it.

After this weekend, Ramor or Kingscourt will be out having lost only one game, and Castlerahan are trying to stay in on a technicality having lost to 3 different teams.

Not when it comes to time. The Ref was the only official time keeper in Brefni on Sunday. The video recording of the match does not have a time clock on it,and videos can always be edited to suit required needs.

The rules states that the Ref is the official time keeper of the game what he says goes. I have seen many times where the clock has been started late in ground scoreboards.

It'd be slightly different if there was a time dispute at the end of the game, but both teams lined up for the 2nd half of extra time knowing exactly what the score was (Castlerahan ahead by one) and that there was 10 minutes plus injury time left, which was played.

Breffni81 all matches are not on Mullahorn V Ballinagh is not being played so looks like the senior championship will be delayed indefinitely assuming that Castlerahan intend to go to Ulster and if no joy to Croke Park despite them loosing 3 matches. Castlerahan go to Ulster this afternoon.they will be told there and then what the outcome is.Ballinagh v Mullahoran will be played next weekend as part of a double header with the Gaels & Lacken.Castlerahan won't win their appeal.they are wasting time and money going to Ulster.take it on the chin and concentrate on next year.

Why Killeshandra feel hard done by. And before talk of Ulster let the county board make their decision. People saying the appeal was thrown out is false. Appeal only heard last night and no decision yet.
