Annie died in April and was the mother of well known singer Kathy Durkin. The Durkin family have a strong association with the Ballinagh club. Annie's sons Ollie and the late Sean Leddy were outstanding footballers for Cavan. The Cavan junior football championship trophy is named after Sean.
