Clare died in May having lived a full life which spanned most of the 20th century. After marrying her husband Edward in 1946, they moved to Crimlin, farmed and ran a successful shop in the area. They had five children and each became her devotion. Clare was known as a woman of wisdom, strength and foresight and she will be sadly missed by her kids, sister Madge and extended family. Her brother was a former President of Cavan GAA and her son Eamonn is a Denn GFC committee member and also on various committees on Cavan GAA County Board.
