Felix passed away in August just a couple of days shy of his 68th birthday and is survived by his wife Goretti and their children. Always known as a quiet gentleman, he was principal of Ballyhaise Agricultural College from 1997 to 2013, having worked as an Inspector for the Department of Agriculture beforehand. His football playing career saw him donning the Drumgoon jersey for a total of 27 years.
