Mulligan, Brian


There was shock and sadness throughout Cootehill on Wednesday, September 6th, 2017 as word emerged that popular local photographer Brian (James Bernard) Mulligan, Old Bridge Road and formerly Market Street, had died in Forli, Italy as the result of injuries sustained during a fall at the start of the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage. The 79-year-old was an outstanding photographer, who worked for The Anglo Celt for more than 40 years and also for the national newspapers. Over the years, he covered countless GAA matches with tremendous professionalism, capturing many key moments and personnel for posterity.
