Former All Star hurler Paul McKillen and Jim McKernan have teamed up once again to take charge of the Antrim camogie team for the coming season.

The pair previously managed Antrim to a Christy Ring Cup  in 2006 and led Down to a final appearance against Carlow in 2009.

McKillen told the Irish News that they would be seeking to build on the county's recent success at underage level.

"There has been so much talent passed through the underage ranks in Antrim over the past 10 years, especially in the last two or three. But there has been a problem bringing that talent through to senior inter-county level," he said.

"I suppose that is the challenge for us now, but I go to a lot of club and school camogie games and the talent is unreal at the moment, and that has to translate into success at inter-county level."
