There were scores galore in a club football game in Laois at the weekend.
The Division 4 league clash of The Rock and Emo on Saturday evening ended in a 6-18 to 6-12 victory for the former. That’s a whopping 66 points scored in total, which makes it a contender for the highest scoring football game played over 60 minutes.

You'd be lucky to ever see that in a hurling match, let alone a football game! Just 3 AISFC county games ever (from about 4,300) have reached 60pts. No NFL game (of 8,400) has ever done so.
