Hurlers often make good golfers, even with a reverse grip, but the Antrim hurlers at the photocall for next month’s annual Golf Classic are not expected to threaten the leaderboard at Galgorm Castle! 

‘’We’re safe enough there," says current Antrim captain Conor McCann, "but you’d need to watch out for Ciaran Clarke and a few ex-players."

Conor McHugh (Cushendun), Paddy Burke (Cushendall), Ronan Molloy (Dunloy) attended the launch for the Classic on April 26th. 

"All the hurlers are extremely grateful for all of our sponsors," says Burke. "It’s great to see everyone rowing in behind the hurlers."
