Cork forward Conor Lehane has revealed that they have not paid any attention to the fact that many pundits gave them no chance against Clare.

The Rebels were worthy winners against the Banner in the opening Munster SHC round robin clash last Sunday. Before the game, they were given little chance to record a win.

However, Lehane revealed to the Clare Champion that they just focused on their own game and paid no attention to what was being said by the pundits.

"Let people say what they want, we try and do our best," said Lehane. "The first game in this format is huge. At the start of the league we beat Kilkenny and lost a number of games after that.

"A little bit of pressure is off. Another win would leave us in a strong position and that is what we will be going for. We will take what we can from last Sunday."
