The attitude of the Clare hurlers has impressed their manager Brian Lohan.

Following their win over Wexford in the HL1B last weekend, Clare are two wins from two, having already beaten Carlow in round one as we head into the break this weekend.

Lohan was delighted with the performance against the Model County who are managed by his former team mate Davy Fitzgerald and he told the Clare Champion that the attitude of the players has been spot on since he came on board.

“The attitude has been great from everyone since I became involved nine or ten weeks ago,” stated the former All-Ireland winning full back.

“It was always good in training, but you don’t know until it’s put up against you what is going to be like and we are really happy with how the lads fought.”
