Cratloe secured their spot in this year’s Clare SHC decider by edging out Crusheen in today’s semi-final at Cusack Park.

Last year’s defeated finalists overturned a three-point half-time deficit to run out 3-24 to 2-12 winners.

Backed by the wind, Cratloe bossed the second-half from start to finish and their endeavour was rewarded with goals from Rian Considine (2) and Cathal McInerney.

Mark Perrill and Ross Hayes responded with consolation goals for Crusheen in the closing stages.

The result means that Cratloe will face neighbours Sixmilebridge for the first time ever in a county final in a fortnight’s time.
