Limerick supporters have got behind their team on many occasions in recent years and John Kiely has urged them to come out in force once again this weekend.

The All-Ireland champions take on Clare in the Munster SHC at the Gaelic Grounds on Sunday and a large crowd is expected to attend.

Clare will bring a big following according to Kiely and he has called on the Limerick supporters to make themselves heard.

“We are at home on Sunday and that 16th man has been a huge help to us in the last 18 or 20 months,” Kiely states in the Limerick Leader.

“They were huge last year, and at key moments in games when we needed them, and I’d be hoping that the 16th man can play a big part on Sunday and give us every bit of support because we will need it all.”
