Clare’s preparations for the upcoming Munster SHC have been boosted by the return of 2018 All-Star nominee Shane O’Donnell to the squad.

The Clare Echo is reporting that the Eire Og clubman took part in training last Friday night as Banner County joint-managers Donal Moloney and Gerry O'Connor switch their focus to their Munster SHC opener against Waterford.

The 2013 All-Ireland final hat-trick hero missed the Allianz HL campaign as he has been studying at Harvard University in the USA since last September.

He registered two points for his club in a Clare Cup victory over Doora/Barefield yesterday.
