Clare footballers Sean O'Donoghue and Killian Roche, along with Cillian Blake who plays club football with Doonbeg, are recovering from injuries they sustained after falling almost 30 feet from a bridge last weekend.

The trio were hospitalised after the the accident which happened close to the Spa Wells in Lisdoonvarna in the early hours of Sunday morning.

According to the Clare Champion, O'Donoghue has been discharged from hospital, but Roche and Blake continue to receive treatment. O'Donoghue and Roche had lined out for Cooraclare in their 4-12 to 1-5 victory over O'Curry's in the Clare SFC on Saturday evening, scoring 2-1 and 0-4 respectively.
