Tony Kelly scored 1-11 from play in a majestic display as Ballyea overcame Cratloe after extra-time to book their Clare SHC quarter-final place at Cusack Park this evening.
The 2016 Munster champions won a high-scoring contest by 2-30 to 3-23 after the sides had finished level on 2-19 apiece at the end of normal time.

Last year's beaten finalists Clooney/Quin and Eire Og are also through to the quarter-finals. Clooney/Quin defeated Kilmaley by 0-17 to 1-6 in the opening game at Cusack Park, while Shane O'Donnell's Eire Og were 1-22 to 1-16 winners over O'Callaghan's Mills in Sixmilebridge.
Also at O'Garney Park, Wolfe Tones edged out John Conlon's Clonlara 1-19 to 1-18 in the losers' section.
