Congratulations to Ramor commiserations to Castlerahan. This was dire stuff and you won in the end. Enjoy your victory everyone but try and give Ulster a rattle but I expect the date is too close for you to achieve I hope you prove me wrong.
It has to be hard to be on the losing side but I hope Castlerahan you will have learnt from today and contest the final again next year. I am sure if management were watching they they will have learnt what not to do against Ramor.
Ramor are a very young team and they will be the team to beat for the next ten years if they don't break up and start emigrating. Congrats to young Cole on his man of the match award over the two matches you more than deserved it.
Congratulations to your management you are one decent bunch of lad's and ladies.

Well done to Ramor who given their age profile may be at the top table of Cavan football for many years to come. i feel very sorry for Castlerahan, two final defeats in a row is hard to take but they don't need and probably don't want any sympathy. They must get back up and running after Christmas, their current set up can still deliver an Oliver Plunkett in the next year or two!

Well done to Ramor. Have to say they fully deserved their victory. Better team both days. Young team fulfilling their potential . Hard luck to castlerahan. Probably will not win one for a while now . Yes congrats to Ramor on winning with a fairly young team but would agree with SeanORinn that it was dire struff. I wouldent be an ardent follower of club football in the county but I couldent believe how negative both teams were. It must have been the years of black death football that has infected the club game in Cavan.
I really thought Castlerahan after going 5 to 1 up after 15 or so mins were all set to reach their goal but they suddenly went back defensively and really have only themselves to blame. Their build up was far too slow. And as an elderly man close to me said nobody is allowed to kick the ball now. Handball he said and he was right. Both teams pulled players back and there were 4 or 5 defenders on 1 or 2 forwards. Hard to believe Castlerahan only scored 3 pts after that. !!
To be honest I wouldent say Mattie, if he was there, would be too impressed. Apart from James Mc Enroe , Mackey and Flanagan it would be hard to pick out any more county players. Maybe Cole at full forward and Cian Mc Enroe. Jack Brady scored a nice point but only came on near the end.
All in all a very forgettable final.

As said by all, congrats to Ramor, the better team the first day and by far the better team yesterday.

If McGlennon was there, he probably won't be adding anyone new to the county set-up, there were very few standout performers across the 2 games and the standard, particularly yesterday, was poor.

Thought the lateral play of Castlerahan was forced by Mackey's lack of movement inside. Considering his pace and how loose McEnroe tends to be at times, he barely showed. They learned NOTHING from their kick-out malfunction in the first game either. They got cleaned out at midfield and still didn't push up the field to leave space at the back and allow Leahy to kick short to his defenders.

Well played Ramor - the best team won although i struggled to get into the excitement of things if I am honest.
I don't see that we had a showcase for Cavan football on show. It sort of reminded me of the intermediate replay and replays can be like that. I am sure that Ramor will not care one iota that the neutral was not blown away.

Now to Ulster and our 3 representatives have quick turnarounds (as do their opponents) and limited time to plan anything on the opposition. I doubt that any of our teams have seen much of the opposition and vice versa. It would be great to see some of our teams make a charge at Ulster but I feel that it is unlikely. Tyrone opposition for 2 of the 3 will be a big ask. But you never know.

In the 3 finals, I think that Mattie may consider the following players for trials;

Cornafean - Doyle, Arva - Sheridan, Bouchier, Killinkere - McCabe, Ramor - Cole Castlerahan - Mcenroe.
