As one that supports a big team ie Cavan Gaels I have no problem s with supporters having big expectations
indeed I feel that without big expectations that a good team like the Gaels would not function

Deanmartintynan- cavan lost by a point to Monaghan who went on to win ulster for the second year in a row and cement themselves as a top 6 team. You were on here slating the team and especially the management afterwards, likewise on your little Facebook page. If you want to see "supporters" with unrealistic expectations have a look in the mirror.

Fredflint....get ur facts right before posting as Monaghan did not win Ulster for a second year running... Fact is we let a team with only one decent foreward ( a class act ) to beat us after been 5 points up late in the 2nd half which is very very poor.... Tyrone put them to the sword handy enough...

We can talk about Monaghan and how close we are but we would have been beaten by Donegal in the final without question ! There is no team in Ulster bar Antrim that we would beat every day of the week that's the problem ! When you see the standard of cavan club football you see why we struggle to compete every year it's simpley not good enough .... Never mind red cards we are just not good enough to be winning an Ulster title !

What has someone from little Longford constantly commenting on goings on in his neighbouring county. Surely he should be concentrating on the great year of championship progress in his own county where the manager signed off in scenes of unparalleled joy and a championship where lesser teams were despatched on the way to good showings against bigge.....oh wait a second!! Longford the only county bar Antrim and carlow where the hope for the future is so bad that some of biggest clubs players won't even play for their own county.
