Open Day 

We will host a Registration/Information morning on Saturday February 1st 2020 at 10am-1pm at the club grounds. Everyone is welcome to see what the club has to offer and to view the facilities. Registration for new members and re-registration for existing members who have not yet done so will also be available on the day. We are always delighted to welcome new members! All committee members are encouraged to help on the morning. IMPORTANT - Registrations this year online only, you will find a link on our website www.kingscourtstars.gaa.ie,  OR on February 1st on Registration day. Coaches will not be in a position to accept registrations at any other time! 

National Football League Pools 2020.  
The Allianz National Football league starts on January 25th 2020. Our senior panel is running a pools competition for every week of the competition. Forecast sheets available from players, committee members & local outlets. €3 per round. €20 for all 7 rounds. Weekly winners will share a prize fund of €200. Prizes for Top 3 performers. Results will be published on social media and local outlets and www.kingscourtstars.gaa.ie 
All completed and paid for pools coupons should be submitted by the Friday before the weekend of the games. All winners will be notified by the Wednesday of the week following games. Please support our player fundraising! 

Child Protection 

A Child Protection course, facilitated by Dudley Farrell,  will take place at the clubrooms on Monday 3rd February for all interested in helping out with coaching. Anyone interested please contact our child protection officer, Sonya Morris Monaghan, at 0879815614. It is important to keep in mind that all coaches must complete child protection training and be Garda vetted. 

Golf Classic 

Our club will run a golf classic on Saturday May 30th 2020 at Mannon Castle, Carrickmacross. Team of 4 is €160. More details at a later date. Anyone interested in getting involved or entering a team please email [email protected] 

Safety 

All parents/players are reminded that gumshields are compulsory, as are safety glasses or contact lenses for those who wear eye glasses 

Lotto      

Result of this week’s lotto held in Malones – 7; 8; 15; 25. No jackpot winner. Registrations 2020 

Reminder that registrations for 2020 are now open. Anyone who registered online in 2019 will get a reminder. Senior players are strongly urged to take out their own personal insurance, and parents are advised to insure their children through the school insurance scheme, which provides excellent 24 hour insurance for a minimal charge. Remember there is no GAA Insurance Policy. It is a GAA Injury Benefit Fund. The Injury Fund does not seek to fully compensate but to supplement other covers such as Private Health Insurance, National Health Insurance, Personal Accident Cover, Employment benefit covers, Income Payment protection covers. The playing of our national games involves the risk of Injury and it is each individual registered player’s responsibility to familiarize themselves with the terms and benefits of the GAA Injury Benefit Fund.  Why not consider our family membership scheme ‘Chairde Dún a Rí’ which is €240 payable in instalments or in full. This covers 2 adults, unlimited children U18, and also gives you 3 lotto entries per week. All existing family members of ‘A Chairde Dún a Rí’ can re-register for 2020 by emailing details to [email protected].
