Conor Dourneen

A huge congratulations to Conor Dourneen who has been selected to the National Referees Panel, and in doing so, becoming one of the top 40 elite national GAA referees along side Cavan's other representatives Joe McQuillan and Noel Mooney. Conor has worked tirelessly over the last decade to become one of the top Referees in the county and is now the youngest Intercounty National Referee in the country. Ballinagh GAA will be very proud to see him refereeing intercounty National League games in the coming weeks along with officiating in All Ireland Championship games in the summer time. Conor has had help along the way and we're sure he would like to extend his gratitude to his umpires for their help and support over the years, Padraig McCabe, Gerry Sheridan, Tomas O Keeffe and Martin Brady and everyone else that has supported and helped him to this moment. We would again like to wish Conor the very best of luck and once again congratulate him on this massive achievement for himself, his family and his club.
