Horse night 

Horse sales are now in full swing, lots of stables to fill. Keep up the good work, fill those cards and anyone who has filled their card, can hand it to Ciaran Brady, Barry Martin, Michael Kane or Martin Leddy.

 

Senior championship 

Our senior team bowed out of the championship at the quarter final stage on Friday night last suffering a heavy defeat at the hands of Ramor utd in Breffni park scoreline Ramor 1_15 Gowna  0_07 

 

Underage 

On a busy week at underage our U15s qualified for the U15 division 1 championship final next Thursday 19th in Breffni at 7 v Killygary by beating Lavey in the semi final convincingly scoreline Gowna 5_11 Lavey 2_07 . Best of luck to the team and management in the final. 

Then on Saturday afternoon last our u13s hosted and beat near neighbour's Mullahoran in round 2 of the div1 championship final score Gowna 2_11 Mullahoran 1_12 .

Later on Saturday last Southern Gales u17s beat Lough Oughter Gales 2_15  to1_07 to qualify for the div1 championship semi final well done to all involved with all teams.

 

Gowna ladies

 

Well done to our u-11 girls who reached the final of the Cornafean tournament. The girls were defeated my Lurgan with 3 points in the difference. It was a great sporting game. 

Well done to our U-16 girls who had two great wins last week over Lacken and Knockbride. 

U-12 girls start off their Autumn league this week. Fixture updates on facebook.

 

Clothes collection ends on Saturday 21st Sept. We would appreciate as much support as possible with this fundraiser for the ladies club
