Fund Raising
Our major fundraiser for this year is a "Monster Race Night", which will take place on Sat 12th Oct. The race cards for this event will be distributed to all senior players (ladies & men) and all families of underage in the coming days. Thanks to your efforts last year was a big success, and that continued effort & support will make this another success. Looking forward to the 12th of October.
Senior championship
The quarter final of the senior championship takes place next Friday night at the late time of 8_45pm in Breffni park against Ramor Utd best of luck to the team and managment.
U17S
Southern Gales u17s had a good win away to Dernacrive Gales on Friday last final score Southern Gales 2_11 Dernacrive Gales 1_11.
U13s
Our u13s started their championship campaign in div1 away to Cavan Gales last Saturday while the played well Cavan Gales just proved to be too strong winning on a score of Cavan Gales 2_15 Gowna 1_11.

Gowna ladies
This week, Gowna Ladies, newly crowned County Intermediate Champions proudly returned to training to begin preparations for the Ulster Championship later this month.It’s a huge achievement to be 2019 champions; the result of massive dedication and hard work by our team and coaches over the last number of years.Now seizing the opportunity to represent both Gowna and Cavan in Ulster, we are humbly asking for your support to help us prepare. Gowna Ladies Annual clothes collection:
Members of the ladies club will be distributing bags to each house in the area over the week and will arrange a time to collect them from you also.
Information will be attached to the bags with the collection date on it. If you are not going to be there on the collection date please leave your bags outside, alternatively you can drop your bags to the dressing room on the evening of the 20th Sept, or before 10amon the 21st Sept. Collection company is coming on the 21st Sept at 10am. Items accepted:
