Presentation 

A presentation of medals to our 2018 Div 2 U17 Ladies Champions; and to our 2018 Div 3 U20 Mens Champions will take place in Murtaghs next Saturday March 23 at 9pm. All are very welcome and finger food will be served.  

Mass 

Fr Gerry will include our Club in Mass on Saturday April 13 in The Church of the Immaculate Conception at 6pm. All juveniles, players and members are invited to attend wearing the club colours. Fr Gerry will pray for all deceased members especially for Terry McCabe and Johnny McCullagh, both lifelong supporters who passed away recently! We hope to have an annual Mass said for our club! 

National Football League Pools 2019.  

Allianz National Football league forecast pools -  The joint winners of Round 6 each receiving €70 and with a score of 27 are Carleen McKeown Kingscourt Seller Keith McCabe; and Killian Brady Mullahoran Seller Barry Reilly. Runner up prizes receiving €30 each with a score of 25 are Brendan Reilly Teevurcher Seller Brendan Farrelly; and Alan Courell Skerries Seller Shane Gray entry forms for final rd 7 available from players, committee members & local outlets. €3 per round.   

Lotto

Lá Fhéile Pádraig 

KIngscourt Stars was proudly represented at the St Patricks Day Parade, and to top it all we won ‘Best Cultural Float’!. Go raibh maith agat to all the participants, and comhghairdeas! 

Seniors 

Reserve ACFL Div 1 Group A first game at home V Laragh Saturday March 23 at 4pm under management team of David Burke and Barry O’Reilly. ACFL Div 1 first game at home V Lacken Wednesday March 27 at 8pm under management of David Lennon and Derek Walsh. Best of luck to our senior panel for 2019. 

U21s 

U21 Spring League – Division 2 (13 a side) Round 4 V Cúchulainns  Kingscourt 3-19 Cúchulainns 2.09. Well done lads. Into a final V Denn next Friday TBC. 

U17s 

Round 3 of the Division 3 group B league Kingscourt 3.14 Ballinagh 3.07. Next game V Crosserlough away Sunday March 31st at 3pm. 

Meeting 

Committee meeting was held last Thursday night. Almost 100% registration of players both senior and juvenile to date. Huge achievement! 

GAA Gaeltacht Scholarships 

Interviews for GAA scholarships to Gaeltachts in Donegal will be held ‪on Saturday March 30 in Hotel Kilmore ‪between 10am and 12.30pm‬. Referees 

Ever thought about becoming a referee? Our club needs volunteers, both male and female, to consider a role as a club referee. All that is required is to attend a Level 1 Basic Club Referee Course. Following the completion of this course and the successful completion of the rules assessment and fitness test, the referee is qualified to referee at Club level. This would be a huge addition to our club. Please contact a committee member if interested.
