MEMBERSHIP 2019

 

Club Membership for 2019 is now due please.

 

All Drumalee players both Senior & Underage levels are required to be registered paid up members and insured by the club before they can take to the pitch. All membership fees should now be paid to club Treasurer Carmel O’Neill or nominated person for each relevant team. Any Friends of Drumalee subscriptions for 2019 can also be paid to club treasurer. Thank you.

 

FRIENDS OF DRUMALEE

 

Friends of Drumalee has been a club initiative running for the past 5 years which has been a hugely successful fundraising venture for the club which has helped us with building our new club house and dressing rooms. The yearly cost for Friends of Drumalee is €252.00 or €21 per month payable by direct debit. All friends of Drumalee shall be paid up members of the club and incentives include; all friends of Drumalee are issued with a membership card which entitle them free entry into all home Drumalee matches, are entered into monthly draw for cash prize, yearly special prize draw for all Friends of Drumalee, and throughout your membership all Friends of Drumalee shall receive communication on a regular basis informing you of news from the club, such as results from senior, minor and underage games and other events of interest.

 

We already have a large number of “Friends of Drumalee” signed up to this club initiative and we are most appreciative of this support. If you or your family might be interested in becoming a Friends of Drumalee, you can contact any of the committee members below and they will be happy to give you more information.

Juvenile Training - New Members welcome

 

 

 

 

Juvenile Training for both Boys & Girls for all ages up to U9’s takes place every Saturday morning at 10.30 am in the Sports Complex, €2 per child to cover cost of hall.  Any New Members are welcome, so if you know of any boys and girls might not play Gaelic football yet and want to try it out, they are most welcome to come any Saturday morning to try it out.

Drumalee GAA Underage, under the expert guidance of Niall Sheridan (Juvenile Chairperson) along with his team of coaches cater for boys & girls from 4 years upwards. Our Underage section offer a friendly, safe, and fun environment to learn the skills of Gaelic Football & to make new friends. All coaches are garda vetted and qualified. All new members welcome. Juvenile Membership forms are available from Niall Sheridan at training session on Saturday mornings at training and if we can ask that these are completed and returned. Membership fee for Juveniles is €25.00 and €20.00 for each subsequent child per family.

 

CLUB BINGO

Bingo night takes place every Thursday in our Club hall, doors open from 8pm to start 9pm. It always draws a good crowd and is a great night’s fun. Thank you to all our Bingo patrons for their continued support.

 

CLUB LOTTO

The club lotto draw took place last Thursday 7 February at Bingo. The numbers drawn were 19, 22, 23, & 30. There was winner of the jackpot. Congratulations to our €25 winner, Phyllis Walsh (Drumalee), John Reilly (Bingo), Noel & Grainne Mooney & Mia O’Neill (C/o O’Neills).

  This week’s jackpot climbs an impressive €8,600! Tickets are available from usual outlets around the town. Don’t forget you can now play online – https://game/play/662 from the comfort of your own home, if you are not in, you can’t win!

Thank you to everyone who supports our lotto every week- it is the life blood of the club’s fundraising efforts. Lotto draw takes place every Thursday night at Club Bingo in Club Hall.

 

BEST OF LUCK TO MULLINALAGHTA

Drumalee GAA would like to wish the Mullinalaghta players and management, Cavan Manager Mickey Graham and our own Drumalee club man John Denning the best of luck this Saturday as they face Dr Croke’s in the All Ireland football semi-final in Semple Stadium.

Drumcrave NS Fundraiser

Our local national School Drumcrave NS are having a “Come Dine with me” fundraiser this Saturday night 16 February in the Black Horse Inn from 9pm . Big raffle on the nights with weekend away to be won & lots more. A great nights entertainment promised with DJ Paul Cox. All families, friends, alumni, and Drumalee members welcome on the night.

 

Date for the Diary – Club Mass & Social evening

The club mass for Deceased members and families will take place in the Club Hall on Saturday 9 March at 6.30pm. All are invited to social evening in the Orchard Bar afterwards. All welcome.
