Dinner Dance

Save the date! The club dinner dance will take place on Saturday, 5 January 2019 in Crover House Hotel. More details in the coming weeks.

 

Scór na nÓg

Our club will host the second of two first round Scór na nÓg competitions on Sunday at 3pm in St. Joseph's Hall, Ballyjamesduff. 

 

Benefit Night

The senior players are organising a benefit night in the Imperial Bar, Cavan on Saturday, 24 November. Tickets available from senior players. Music by Big Generator.

 

AGM

The AGM has been fixed for Saturday, 12 January 2019.

 

Reserve

Our reserve team will contest the semi-final of the Division 1 championship v Cavan Gaels on Friday at 8:15pm on the 3G pitch at Kingspan Breffni. Please support.

 

U20

Our U20 team commenced their Division 3 championship campaign on Sunday afternoon when they hosted Kingscourt in Fay Park. The boys got off to a good start racing into a five point lead but went in trailing by five at half-time. However, they turned things around in the second half and will not be displeased to have secured a draw by the time the full-time whistle blew. Full-time scoreline: Castlerahan 2-8 to 1-11 Kingscourt. The team will meet Templeport in round 3. Throw in is at 12 noon on Sunday next in Bawnboy.

 

Cumann na mBunscol

Hard luck to Castlerahan National School who were defeated in the Division 3 final on Saturday afternoon last. The team has representatives from the Castlerahan, Mountnugent and Oldcastle clubs and were coached by Deirdre Clinton, Darragh McCabe, Tony Fitzpatrick and John Clarke.
