Our Seniors drew 1-13 apiece with Mullahoran In the Championship Quarter Final on Saturday evening last in Ballinagh. Belturbet: Cian Vaughan, Shane Fitzpatrick, Peter Shannon, Kevin McConnell, Enda Henry(0-9 7f), Niall O’Reilly, John Cahill, Mark Teevan, Stuart Dunne, Fionan O’Reilly, Cormac Donohoe, Niall Lawlor, Donal McDonald(1-1), Eoin McGuigan, Conal McGinley(0-1). Subs: Jason O’Reilly(0-1 1f), Conor Vaughan(0-1), Luke Smith, Mark Lawlor, James McCaffrey. We wish Mullahoran defender James Reilly a speedy recovery from the nasty injury he sustained in the first half of the game. Best of luck to our squad and management team in the Quarter Final Replay this Saturday September 22 when they face Mullahoran at 5pm in Ballinagh.

Congratulations to our Senior Defender Kevin McConnell and wife Sheena on the birth of their second baby Fionn last week from all at Belturbet Rory O'Moores.

Sisters of Mercy

Join the Sisters of Mercy and the wider community on Sunday 23rd September at 3pm in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Belturbet in celebration of their 150th anniversary of their arrival to Belturbet, followed by refreshments in the Seven Horseshoes Hotel! All are most welcome! Come and show your thanks for all the good work of the Sisters throughout the years!

U13s

Our U13s were defeated by 8-12 to 1-4 by Gowna in the Division 2 Championship on Monday evening last in Gowna GAA Grounds. They host Killinkere this Saturday September 22 at 2pm in the U13 Division 2 Championship. 

U11s and U9s

 

A huge thank you to Kildallan Gaa for hosting a fantastic blitz last weekend and for having our U9s and U11s to the tournament. Well done also to our U11s who won the Colm Curry Cup.

 

U12 Girls

Well done to our U12 Girls and management on their final victory over Ballinagh on Thursday evening last. 

 

 

McCaugheys Fuels Kit for Clubs

 

Belturbet GFC are running with this initiative for the Juvenile Clubs with McCaughey Fuels of Clones. Please help to spread the word to family, friends and neighbours and help us get kit and gear for our underage. With Each Heating Oil Delivery the club will receive 1 token. More details are contained in the posters on club facebook and twitter accounts. There is a box in Gala in town to leave tokens in  and they can also be given to club members.

Club Membership
Many thanks to all who have paid their Membership and to those who are on Direct Debit, it is badly needed and much appreciated as it is going directly into the account for the much needed re-development of our club grounds which are underway at present and which will be completed in 2019.  Many thanks for your continued strong and loyal support for our club.    Family Membership in Club Belturbet is €300 for the year or €240 for the year for an individual membership in Club Belturbet. This will entitle members to free entry into all Belturbet games at underage and senior level as well as having their name entered into the weekly club lotto draw. If any member wishes to purchase the regular membership the fee for the year is €50. Membership fees for 2018 can be returned  to our club chairman Mark Lawlor, Secretary Paul O'Reilly, Treasurer Alan Traynor or indeed any of the club committee.
