An impressive first year in the Australian Football League Women’s ended with Clare’s Ailish Considine playing a significant role in Adelaide Crows’ Grand Final win over Carlton.
In front of a record attendance of 53,034 at the Adelaide Oval, the Kilmihil native and her team-mates powered to an emphatic 63-18 final success over Carlton.
Considine – who signed a professional rookie contract last September – scored a goal in the first-quarter as The Crows claimed a second outright success.
