Anna Farrell has handed over the Kilkenny senior camogie captaincy to her sister Shelly for 2018.
Anna was skipper last season as Ann Downey's charges retained their Division 1 National League title before narrowly losing their All-Ireland crown at the final stage.
Shelly captained her county to All-Ireland U16 glory in 2008 and was honoured as Leinster camogie club player of the year in 2017.
The Farrell sisters are busy preparing for their club Thomastown's upcoming All-Ireland semi-final clash with Ulster champions Slaughtneil.
