Moorefield 2-9

Sarsfields 0-15

Neighbours Moorefield and Sarsfields will have to do it all over again next Sunday after Barry Coffey's last-gasp point earned the latter a draw at St Conleth's Park.

Sars will be delighted to have a second chance after three-in-a-row seeking Moorefield raced into a 2-3 to 0-0 lead after 10 minutes thanks to goals from Mark McDermott and Eanna O'Connor. But Davy Burke's charges refused to panic and replied with points from Ray Cahill, Ben McCormack, Coffey, Caoimhín McDonnell and Matt Byrne to trail by just two, 0-9 to 2-5, at the break.

The momentum remained with the challengers after the restart when Cahill kicked two more scores to level before Coffey gave them the lead for the first time since the second minute.

2017 Leinster champions Moorefield immediately levelled through substitute Adam Tyrrell before Coffey restored Sarsfields' lead. Veteran Ronan Sweeney was forced off with a knee injury just moments after coming on, but it didn't stop the Moores from regaining the lead through a pair of O'Connor frees.

Cahill (free) and O'Connor traded late scores before Coffey earned Sars a replay with the last kick of the game.
