Wexford manager Davy Fitzgerald has hailed the county’s supporters.

At Wexford Park last Monday evening, the county showed off the Leinster SHC and Minor trophies as well as the Leinster Ladies’ IFC Cup.

Speaking to the Wexford People, Fitzgerald acknowledged their support throughout the year and added that they will be called on again for the semi-final.

“You have stood beside us and with us over the three years. This is a special group of players who I love from the bottom of my heart,” the Wexford People reports Fitzgerald as telling the crowd.

He added: “I also promise you we will play our hearts out as I have a special feeling and we’ll not let you down.”
