Cathal McShane accepts that Tyrone will have to up the ante if they’re to have an extended stay in the championship.

Last year’s All-Ireland finalists were consigned to the Qualifiers when losing to Donegal at Breffni Park on Saturday evening and McShane admits they were off song:

“There was loads of things we didn't do well. We didn't execute the basic skills like we normally do well,” the Red Hands attacker told The Irish News.

“We will have to go away and work on that and make sure we get it right for the Qualifier route.

“We have to get back at it, as simple as that. It was the same last year when we lost to Monaghan. “We'll get back to training, look at what went wrong.”
