Clare are expected to appeal David Reidy's controversial red card against Limerick once they review footage of the incident.
As things stand, the wing forward is suspended for the Munster SHC final against Cork on July 1, but there is every chance he will be exonerated after TV replays suggested he merely bumped into opponent Diarmuid Byrnes. Reidy was given his marching orders just two minutes after Limerick sub Tom Condon was also dismissed.
"That's what we're hearing (that the Reidy red was harsh) and that's what he said to us at half-time," Clare's joint-manager Gerry O'Connor said.
"But look, the referees have a decision to make and look we're not going to comment on any referee decision.
"We'll go through whatever process we have to go through to see if there was an actual injustice done there."
