Team news: Burns one of four Orchard debutants

Armagh manager Kieran McGeeney has named four debutants in his side for Sunday’s Ulster SFC quarter-final against Down in Newry.

Ryan Kennedy, Jarlath Og Burns, Aidan Nugent and Rian O’Neill are all set to make their championship bows for the Orchard County, with the latter named in a full-forward which includes Rory Grugan and Jamie Clarke.

Burns, whose father captained Armagh to Ulster glory back in 1999, starts at centre-field alongside veteran Charlie Vernon while Aidan Nugent is named at number 10 and Ryan Kennedy on the same flank at right half-back.

Throw-in at Pairc Esler is at 3.30pm.
