'The McGurk Cup serves a wonderful purpose' - Ulster Council Vice-President Ciaran McLaughlin speaking after the Final between Antrim and Down at the Dub Arena on Saturday evening. 

Antrim won by 2-19 to 0-13 and the whole competition drew praise from McLaughlin. 

'It gets teams ready for the League. We want to provide the best opportunities to play hurling and we've been able to do that here in partnership with Queens'.
