Antrim will begin the process of appointing a new hurling manager at a county board meeting on Monday week, September 17.

Terence 'Sambo' McNaughton and Dominic McKinley have indicated that they won't be continuing as joint-managers after completing a second spell in charge. Appointing midway through 2016, the pair guided the Saffrons to promotion to Division 1B of the Allianz League last year, but they were relegated back to Division 2A this year and also narrowly avoided relegation from the new Joe McDonagh Cup thanks to a playoff victory over Kildare.

According to the Irish News, the positions of minor football manager and U21 hurling manager will also be up for discussion at the meeting.
